May 2012 at The Lock-up

Enter the foyer of Lock-Up Cultural Centre, and you are met with history (literally) carved into the walls, complimented with photographs and stories about the people who once filled the cells. To the right of the foyer is the John Paynter Gallery – where our exhibition Being Human has just opened.

Being Human

Exhibition invite for our opening held on the 18th May 2012:

Being Human Exhibition

Enter the foyer of Lock-Up Cultural Centre, and you are met with large black and white photographs of previous occupants. Take a left to the museum section, to discover history (literally) carved into the walls. The old police station is bleak, yet also fascinating when complimented with photographs and stories about the people who once filled the cells.
